[origin: WO2008106997A1] The invention relates to a connection device (10) by which means a detachable non-positive connection (16) can be created. The connection (16) can be detached according to at least one physical characteristic of an electroactive plastic material, and the physical characteristic of the electroactive plastic material can be modified according to an electrical voltage. The invention also relates to a device for receiving an electrical circuit and/or a device comprising electrical switching means, having at least one first and and one second housing element used as a first and a second part (12, 14), with an above-mentioned connection device (10). The invention also relates to a method for creating a detachable non-positive connection (16) by means of such a connection device (10), a first electrical voltage being applied in order to create the detachable non-positive connection (16) and a second electrical voltage being applied in order to release the detachable non-positive connection (16).
