[origin: WO2008119740A1] The invention relates to a lamp base (1), which is provided with a plastic base part (2), wherein a hollow cylinder section (12) is configured thereon in one piece; the outer periphery thereof can be used at least in sections as a contact surface comprising a fastening recess for the lamp base, wherein outside the outer circumference of the hollow cylinder section an axial spring (4) can be arranged, by which the lamp base can be securely maintained in the fastening recess.
