[origin: WO2008119660A2] Disclosed is a rotor for an electrodynamic machine, particularly a hydro generator. Said rotor comprises a sheet metal member that is composed of a plurality of sheet metal segments (10) which are arranged behind one another in an axial direction. Spacing webs (14) are inserted between axially successive sheet metal segments (10) in order to form cooling ducts. The spacing webs (14) are supported on bolts (12) extending through the sheet metal member of the rotor in an axial direction in order to absorb centrifugal forces that are applied to the spacing webs (14).
