Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2133255A2] The vehicle (101) has two data transmission units (104, 105) i.e. train lines, for transmitting control data of a control device (103) of a coach (101.1) to remote components. The control device has a detecting unit (103.4) for determining detection parameters representing the corresponding data transmission unit. The control device switches from usage of the data transmission unit (104) to usage of the data transmission unit (105), based on an actual value of the detection parameters. The control device controls the remote components. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a rail vehicle.
