The device has a stretching unit including a stretching cable (8) whose end (81) is integrated to an anchoring point (12) distributed along a luff (11) of a front sail (2). The point and a lower end (9) of the luff are confounded such that traction exerted on another end (82) of the cable actuates a rotatable driving foot to rotatably drive a stay (5) around its longitudinal axis (X-X') by winding the sail around the stay, and traction exerted on the cable actuates the foot in reverse direction by unwinding the sail. The cable is wound around a tube (3) integrated to the foot.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour enrouler totalement ou partiellement et / ou étarquer la voile d'avant (2) à guindant ralingué ou à guindant libre d'un voilier. Ce dispositif est remarquable en ce qu'il comprend : - un étai (5), fixé entre une tête d'enroulement (4) qui comprend une partie statique apte à être fixée à la partie supérieure du mât M, et une partie mobile et rotative apte à s'accrocher à la partie statique, et un pied d'entraînement en rotation (6) solidaire de l'avant A du voilier, - un câble d'étarquage (8) dont l'extrémité (81) est solidaire du point d'amure (9) de la voile d'avant (2) apte à coulisser à l'intérieure du palier friction (7) solidaire d'un tube (3) qui s'étend selon un axe coaxial à l'axe longitudinal X-X' de l'étai, solidaire du pied d'entraînement en rotation (6), l'extrémité (82) du câble d'étarquage (8) est solidaire du pied d'entrainement en rotation (6), ladite voile d'avant (2) étant fixée par l'extrémité supérieure à la tête d'enroulement (4), et par l'extrémité inférieure (9) à l'extrémité (81) du câble d'étarquage, et qu'une traction exercée sur ledit câble (8) permet d'étarquer ladite voile (2).
