[origin: EP2133295A1] The device has a sorting device (11) for sorting the printing product (4) from a pile (19). A rotary conveyor device (13) is provided for taking the sorted printing product and for conveying a transport device (1). The conveyor device has a rotational axis (50), and a gripper (49) takes over the printing product in the gripping plane. The gripping plane of the gripper is arranged in a center plane of the transport device. An independent claim is included for a method for taking flat printing product from a pile and for handing the printing product in a running transport device.
