[origin: WO2008107328A2] The invention relates to a refrigerator comprising a chilled interior (2) and a cooling circuit for a coolant, said cooling circuit being provided with an evaporator (9), a compressor (17), and a condenser (15). The refrigerator further comprises a controller (20) as well as a fan (16) for cooling the condenser (15) and/or the compressor (17). According to the invention, the controller (20) is designed such that the fan (16) is triggered during a resting phase of the compressor (17).
