[origin: WO2008113634A1] The invention relates to a flexible electrical extension cable (2) and a pipe processing device (40) adapted thereto. The extension cable (2) is divided into two cable pieces (2-1, 2-2) by a rotational coupling (4). The front end of the front cable piece (2-1) has a cable plug (6) that is embodied as a mains plug for plugging into a socket of a public electricity grid. A cable coupling (8) having a structure that is not compatible with the cable plug (6) is connected to the rear of the rear cable piece (2-2) such that said cable coupling may not be coupled to said cable plug. The cable coupling (8) is adapted to a cable plug (20) of the pipe processing device (40) or to an electrical plug (108) attached to the pipe processing device (40) in a fixed manner such that said cable coupling may be coupled with said plug.
