[origin: EP2135540A1] The floor cleaning machine (1) has a dust collection device (7) and a suction ledge which is arranged on the chassis above the ground surface which is to be cleaned. A receiving device is arranged adjacent to the suction ledge center (19) for receiving coarse dirt from the ground surface. The dust collection device has two dust containers (9,11). The suction ledge is connected with the former dust container, and the conveying unit is connected with the latter dust container.
