The element (7) has multitude of gems e.g. glass elements, that are distributed on an adhesive layer (2) and held by the adhesive layer, which is applied on an elongate body (1) whose longitudinal extent is multiple greater than cross-sectional periphery of the body. The elongate body is designed as a flexible cable or a flexible body in a wire form or a rod of circular or polygonal cross-section, and comprises an electrical conductor. The gems comprise transparent material and a non-mirrored side, and the adhesive layer includes reactive polyurethane. An independent claim is also included for a process for a production of a decorative element.
