Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2136024A1] The profile i.e. door leaf frame (100), has an isolation rod (3) connected with outer profile parts (1, 2) i.e. aluminum profiles. An outer profile part connection element (5) connects the profile parts. The connection element is arranged in an intermediate space (4) such that the connection element is spaced from profile parts. A positioning element i.e. self adhesive band, is activated by heat such that the connection element moves in contact with the profile parts to connect the profile parts during activation.
