The gas turbine has a multi-stage compressor unit (2). The compressor unit is assembled from individual, independent compressor modules (3,4,5). The compressor modules are supported on a drive shaft (1) in an independently rotating manner and are connected with the drive shaft by a coupling unit (9,10,11). The compressor module comprises a compressor stage with a rotor comprising multiple rotor blades and a stator comprising multiple stator blades.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Gasturbine mit zumindest einer mehrstufigen Verdichtereinheit 2, wobei die Verdichtereinheit 2 aus einzelnen, unabhängigen Verdichtermodulen 3-5 aufgebaut sind, welche unabhängig voneinander drehbar auf einer Antriebswelle 1 gelagert und jeweils mittels zumindest einer Kupplungseinheit 9-11 mit der Antriebswelle 1 verbindbar sind.
