Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2008125140A1] A core shooting machine (1) typically comprises at least one two-part mold (2) for forming one or more cores for casting purposes. It is particularly beneficial if it has two molds (2), so that while one mold (2) is being cleaned, the other mold (2) can produce. For the most simple possible handling and cleaning, the upper mold (3) in each case can be rotated about a horizontal axis with a mounting element (7) in a separate position from the lower mold part (4), thus making the underside thereof more accessible for cleaning purposes, wherein the upper mold (3) remains in the interior of the machine frame (6), and thus inside the working space of the core shooting machine (1).
