[origin: WO2008128681A1] The invention relates to a multi- or single-stage turbocompressor with at least one compressor rotor (1) fixed to a shaft, the shaft being mounted in a turbocompressor housing, comprising a rear inner housing region (9) behind the hub disc (8) of the compressor rotor (1) and a front inner housing region (5) in front of the hub disc of the compressor rotor (1) and the driven compressor rotor (1) pumps a fluid from an inlet channel (10) to an outlet channel (11). The front inner housing region (5) comprises a rotor side chamber (12) from which a drain channel (18) for draining fluid is provided.
