Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2683790A1] The invention relates to an installation switchgear having an insulating material housing and a switch handle that can be actuated by an operator on a front side of the housing and switched between a switched-on setting and s witched-off setting. It is characterized by a frame-shaped slider having a h olding protrusion, the slider being displaceably mounted on the front side b etween a locked and a release position, wherein in the locked position the h olding protrusion of the slider blocks the switch handle from being switched , and wherein in the release position the holding protrusion of the slider r eleases the switch handle for switching, and wherein the slider can be preve nted from sliding out of the locking position by lead-sealable means that ca n be supported on one side by slider bars extending transversely to the slid ing direction of the slider and on the other side by structural elements of the front side of the housing corresponding to the bars.
