Abstract (en)
The device (10) has a work piece receiver (14), and a drive (16) provided for an oscillatory movement of work pieces (12). Another drive (30) is provided for the oscillatory movement of a tool holder (26), where axles (32, 36) of the drives stand in an angle to each other and stand orthogonal to each other. The axles of the drives cut at a center of a ball socket or calotte, and the oscillation angle of the drives is adjusted and/or changed during the operation period. A cylindrical finishing stone is provided with partially spherical drive surfaces.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Superfinishen von Kugelschalen oder Kalotten (20) eins Werkstücks (12), z.B. für ein Kugelgelenk, mittels eines einen Finishstein (28) aufweisenden Werkzeugs mit einer Werkstückaufnahme (14), einem ersten Antrieb (16) für eine oszillierende Bewegung des Werkstücks (12), einem Werkzeughalter (26) und einem zweiten Antrieb (30) für eine oszillierende Bewegung des Werkzeughalters (26), wobei die Achsen (32 und 36) des ersten Antriebs (16) und des zweiten Antriebs (30) in einem Winkel zueinander stehen.
