Abstract (en)
The apparatus has a preliminary stacking device (22) arranged above a stacking shaft (12). A number of base elements (50) move into and out of a preliminary stacking shaft (24). The base elements are arranged sequentially along a continuous circulatory path (51). A drive arrangement (47) drives the base elements in a working portion (85) of the path along a movement direction (U) oriented from top to bottom such that the elements are moved to a feed unit (28) when an intermediate stack (20) is formed on an immediately preceding base element.

Oberhalb des Stapelschachts (12) der Stapelvorrichtung (10) ist eine Vorstapeleinrichtung (22) angeordnet. Diese weist einen Vorstapelschacht (24) auf, welchem mittels der Zuführung (28) flächige Produkte (30) zugeführt werden. Jeweils eine Anzahl flächige Produkte (30) wird auf Bodenelementen (50) zu einem Zwischenstapel (20) gestapelt, wonach die Zwischenstapel (20) an den Stapelschacht (12) übergeben werden. Eine Anzahl Bodenelemente (50) ist entlang einer Umlaufbahn (51) hintereinander angeordnet, wobei ein Arbeitsabschnitt (85) der Bewegungsbahn (51) der Bodenelemente (50) in vertikaler Richtung durch den Vorstapelschacht (24) hindurch verläuft. Während auf einem Bodenelement (30) ein Zwischenstapel (20) gebildet wird, gibt das darunter angeordnete Bodenelement (50) einen vorgängig gebildeten Zwischenstapel (20) an den Stapelschacht (12) ab.
