[origin: EP2138641A2] The assembly (1) has an insulating body (2) provided between a building (A) and a pre-assembled external part (B). The insulating body comprises integrated compression elements (5), which run through the insulating body in an assembled condition of the assembly. The compression elements are attached to the building and the pre-assembled external part. The compression elements are made of thermal insulation material consisting of foamed thermoplastic polymer compounds. The insulation material has a heat conductivity of less than 0.20 Watt/milliKelvin.
