The system has a remote control and a retaining system, where the remote control is retained by an operator using the retaining system. The retaining system has a retaining plate (2) for the remote control. The plate is attached on body of the operator in form of a belt (12) e.g. shoulder belt, using a retaining device (10). Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Fernsteuerungssystem eines Arbeitsgerätes, insbesondere eines Kranes, mit einer Fernsteuerung und einem Tragesystem, über welches die Fernsteuerung von einer Bedienperson getragen werden kann. Erfindungsgemäß weist das Tragesystem eine Halteplatte für die Fernsteuerung auf, welche über eine Trageeinrichtung, insbesondere in Form von Gurten, am Körper einer Bedienperson anlegbar ist, wobei die Halteplatte Mittel zur lösbaren Verbindung mit der Fernsteuerung aufweist, so dass die Fernsteuerung während eines Arbeitseinsatzes an der Halteplatte befestigt und über das Tragesystem am Körper der Bedienperson in einer Bedienposition gehalten werden kann.
