[origin: WO2008135172A1] Fatty acid esters of C<SUB>6-26 </SUB>fatty acids and addition product of 1 to 30 mol ethylene and/or propylene oxide to polyvalent alcohols where the polyvalent alcohols are selected from 1,2-propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, tripropylene glycol, triethylene glycol, glycerine, sorbitol, trimethylolpropane, ditrimethylolpropane, tritrimethylolpropane, neopentyl glycol, 2-methylpropane-1,3-diol, 1,4-butanediol, 1,6-hexanediol, 1,4-cyclohexanediol, 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol, pentaerythrite, dipentaerythrite, butyl ethyl propanediol, 2-methylpentane-2,4-diol, 2-ethylhexane-1,3-diol, 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol, hydroxypivalylhydroxypivalate, 1,3-cyclohexanedimethanol and 1.4-cyclohexanedimethanol are suitable as solvents for offset printing.
