Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2683775A1] The invention relates to an installation switchgear having a housing, hav ing a front and a rear front side, a mounting side, front and rear narrow si des and broad sides, and having a screwless spring-loaded terminal in a fixe d position inside a terminal connection space of the housing, said terminal comprising a terminal spring having a contact leg, a clamping leg having a c lamping window comprising a clamping edge, and a curved spring back connecti ng the contact and clamping legs, said terminal working together with a carr ier part comprising a terminal strip such that a connecting conductor can be connected between the back side of the terminal strip and the terminal edge . A spring actuation lever that can be actuated from outside the housing is pivotally connected to the housing, said lever when pivoted out of a rest po sition into an opening position pressing with a bending arm on the spring ba ck such that the clamping window exposes a clamping opening on the rear side of the terminal strip for introducing a connecting conductor.
