[origin: WO2008132099A1] A tapping device (8) comprises a brush holder (9), which is made of electrically conductive material and can be connected to a base body of an electric machine. The tapping device (8) further comprises a brush (15), which is made of electrically conductive material. The brush (15) is guided displaceably in a brush guide (14) of the brush holder (9), so that the brush (15) is pressed against a shaft of the electric machine by a spring force (F). The brush (15) is connected to the brush holder (9) in an electrically conductive manner. An electrically insulating intermediate element (20) is provided between the brush (15) and the brush guide (14) so that no direct electric contact occurs between the brush (15) and the brush guide (14).
