Abstract (en)
The method involves providing a free rear binding, and back-rounding a book block. The book block is rounded at a rear side and/or a front side by a mechanical material removal by cutting. The book block is provided with a rear glued bond at the rear side. A side glued bond extends from sides of the book block. A rear lining is applied on the rear glued bond. The book block is glued with the lining and/or with a flap using polyurethane, ethylene vinyl acetate base and acrylic base. The flap is made of paper, plastic or fabric. An independent claim is also included for a book comprising a bind cover.

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Buches in BroschurAusführung mit einem Buchblock, wobei eine freie Rückenbindung vorgesehen und der Buchblock zumindest in seinem Rückenbereich abgerundet wird und Buch in Broschur Ausführung mit einem Einband, hergestellt nach diesem Verfahren, wobei ein gerundeter Rücken und wahlweise eine gerundete Vorderseite in Kombination mit einer Broschur-Ausführung vorgesehen ist.
