[origin: EP2141279A1] The dryer (1) has a condensation device (8) comprising a collecting vessel (10) for collecting condensation liquid that results during a drying process. A collecting basin (11) is connected with the collecting vessel by a line (12), where the collecting basin is arranged in a tub (16) that is connected with the collecting vessel by an outlet (15). A valve (14) closes the outlet of the collecting vessel in an air-tight manner, and releases the connection to the collecting vessel by the liquid that flows through the outlet.
