[origin: EP2141313A1] The device (4) has a lever (6) including an arm (9) with an end region that is locked in different positions by a locking mechanism (11). The end region is slidably guided and supported in a guide rail (10). An interlocking unit (13) is attached to a side of an embrasure (2) in an area of a mounting part (5). The lever is lockable in a fully opened position of a window or door shutter (1), using the interlocking unit. The lever is unlockable for closing and/or partially closing the shutter, using the interlocking unit.
