Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2141444A2] The cable has a metallic base body i.e. rear part (6) of a sabot projectile (1), including an insulated outer body and a metallic electrically conductive inner conductor. The base body forms a ground wire, and a signal line is insulated inside the base body. The signal line is guided via a borehole of the base body along a center axis. The signal line fully occupies the borehole. An axially running part guides a signal. The base body is made of aluminium alloy or eloxal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a projectile comprising a propellant detonator (2) a method for manufacturing an electrical gas-tight cable for a projectile.
