Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2141718A1] The device (10) has a control thumbwheel (12) mounted pivotably with respect to a case (14) between two extreme angular switching positions. The thumbwheel controls pivoting of a latch (46) from an intermediate rest state towards two stable states corresponding to the positions. The latch has support portions for switching electrical pressure switches (34) of a printed circuit board (20) in the switching positions, respectively. The thumbwheel and the latch are mounted on a common base (48) connected to the case. The thumbwheel, the latch and the base form an independent control module (50). The switches are formed in a sheet (30) that is made of flexible material such as silicone.
