[origin: WO2008131747A2] Disclosed is a device that is formed from a flat, polymerized plastic strip (1), one side of which is provided with locking projections (3) made of the same material. Advantageously, the locking projections are designed to penetrate natural hair and be interlockable with similar locking projections (3) of an opposite element. The fastening device is lastingly fixed in the preselected position by planarly interlocking the fastening device with one layer of hair (7). The plastic strip (1) is provided with an adhesive layer (5) on the smooth side thereof in order to attach extraneous elements (6) to the fastening device.
