[origin: WO2008131967A2] The invention relates to a piece of furniture and to a device for ejecting a furniture part (3) which is movably received on a stationary furniture part (2). The device comprises an ejection lever (7) that can be driven via a drive unit and that is present on one of the furniture parts and that is temporarily in contact with the other furniture part to eject the movable furniture part (3). The ejection lever (7) has a zone of contact within which the contact between the ejection lever (7) and the other furniture part is made. The ejection lever (7) can be driven to disengage the contact between the ejection lever (7) and the other furniture part during an ejection process. The zone of contact is preferably bent or the ejection lever is configured to elastically deform during the ejection process.
