Abstract (en)

The package (11) has individual sheets (2) of packaging material each being placed around loosely or in specific folds so that sides of a single small-sized item i.e. round chocolate item, are surrounded by the sheets of packaging material. A packaging material projection is arranged at an opened side and made of partially overlapping packaging materials. A seal is provided for sealing the packaging material projection, where the partially overlapping packaging materials of the packaging material projection are connected with one another for formation of the seal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a sealed package for a single small-sized item (2) a packaging device for packaging a single small-sized item in a sealed folding bag, comprising a folding device.

Verschlossene Verpackung (11) für einen einzelnen kleinstückigen Artikel, umfassend einen einzelnen Bogen (2) eines Verpackungsmaterials, der lose oder in gezielten Falten so um den Artikel herum gelegt ist, dass bis auf eine Seite alle Seiten des Artikels von dem Bogen (2) des Verpackungsmaterials umschlossen sind, und einen an der offenen Seite angeordneten Verpackungsmaterialüberstand (8) aus sich teilweise überlappendem Verpackungsmaterial, wobei die Verpackung ferner einen den Verpackungsmaterialüberstand verschließenden Verschluss derart umfasst, dass das sich teilweise überlappende Verpackungsmaterial des Verpackungsmaterialüberstands (8) ohne äußere Hilfsmittel miteinander zur Ausbildung des Verschlusses verbunden ist.
