[origin: EP2143855A1] Skirting system (1) comprising at least one connection profile (2) and at least one skirting-board (3), wherein the connection profile is adapted to arrange the skirting-board on a wall (5), wherein the skirting-board comprises at least one tongue (31a,31b) extending at least substantially in perpendicular direction relative to the plane of the skirting-board, wherein the connection profile is provided with engaging means (23a,24a,23b,24b) for engaging the tongue of the skirting-board for the purpose of clamping connection of the skirting-board.
