Abstract (en)
The internal combustion engine (1) has a combustion chamber, from which exhaust gas is discharged by outlet valves (3,4). An engine brake assembly (2) is provided with a hydraulic valve-auxiliary unit (19), which is integrated in connecting mechanisms (5,6,7) connecting the outlet valves with a camshaft and which hold the outlet valves in an intermediate opened position during operated engine brake assembly. The hydraulic valve-auxiliary unit is connected to an additional oil circuit for feeding.

Die Brennkraftmaschine (1) hat mindestens einen Brennraum, aus dem mittels mindestens eines Auslassventils (3, 4) Abgas abführbar ist. Sie umfasst außerdem eine Motorbremseinrichtung (2) mit einer hydraulischen Ventil-Zusatzsteuereinheit (19), die in einen das Auslassventil (3) mit einer Nockenwelle verbindenden Verbindungsmechanismus (5, 6, 7) integriert ist und die das Auslassventil (3) bei betätigter Motorbremseinrichtung (2) in einer zwischengeöffneten Stellung hält, sowie einen hydraulischen Ventilspielausgleichsmechanismus (37) für das Auslassventil (3, 4). Der hydraulische Ventilspielausgleichsmechanismus (37) ist zur Ölspeisung an einen Hauptölkreis angeschlossen. Die hydraulische Ventil-Zusatzsteuereinheit (19) ist zur Ölspeisung an einen zusätzlich zu dem Hauptölkreis vorgesehenen Zusatzölkreis angeschlossen.
