Abstract (en)
The method involves realizing exothermic and endothermic reactions i.e. hydrogen producing reactions, within a catalyst of an exhaust gas recirculation line in an engine e.g. internal combustion engine, of a vehicle. Thermal balance of gas obtained from the exothermic and endothermic reactions is determined at an outlet of the catalyst. The exothermic and endothermic reactions are developed based on the determined thermal balance of the gas. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising an engine.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de contrôle de la température des gaz dans une ligne - notamment de recirculation de gaz d'échappement, la ligne comportant un catalyseur, le procédé comprenant les étapes de - réalisation (28) de réactions exothermiques et de réactions endothermiques au sein du catalyseur, - en sortie du catalyseur, détermination (30) du bilan thermique des gaz issus des réactions, - favorisation (32) des réactions exothermiques ou des réactions endothermiques selon le bilan thermique obtenu. L'invention permet d'obtenir un procédé de contrôle de la température plus simple à mettre en oeuvre.
