Abstract (en)
The unit (1) has coolant pipes (3) flowing into lateral coolant collecting tanks (5, 6) of the heat-transfer unit. Wave-like ribs (4) are located between two directly adjacent coolant pipes. The coolant is circulated in a closed coolant circuit, where the coolant pipes have a supply line (19) and a return line (20) for the coolant of the coolant circuit. The supply line has a set of coolant outer channels, and the return line has a set of coolant inlet lines. The supply line and/or outer channels, and the return line and/or inner channels exhibit a common housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a coolant in a cooling circuit.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmeübertrager (1), insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeuges, zum Kühlen eines Kältemittels (2) mit Kältemittelrohren (3), welche in seitliche Kältemittelsammelkästen (5,6) des Wärmeübertragers (1) münden, und mit Wellrippen (4), welche zwischen zwei unmittelbar benachbarte Kältemittelrohre (3) angeordnet sind, wobei das Kältemittel (2) in einem einzigen geschlossenen Kältemittelkreislauf zirkulieren kann, und wobei sich der Wärmeübertrager (1) dadurch auszeichnet, dass ein Kältemittelrohr (3) sowohl einen Vorlauf (19) als auch einen Rücklauf (20) für das Kältemittel des Kältemittelkreislaufes aufweist.
