Abstract (en)
The fuse has a firing assembly for firing a main charge of a projectile. A delay detonator (10) fires the firing assembly after a delay time defined by a burning distance (66) of a delay charge (30). The delay detonator has a housing (26) with a fuse half (60), in which the detonator is fired, and a detonator half (62) containing a detonator charge (34) for firing the firing assembly. The housing in the fuse half has a relief opening (40) with an opening cross section that is freely passable in a firing state of the delay detonator.

Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Zünder (2) für ein Geschoss mit einer Zündanordnung (54) zum Zünden einer Hauptladung des Geschosses und einem Verzögerungsdetonator (10) zum Zünden der Zündanordnung (52) nach einer durch eine Abbrandstrecke (66) einer Verzögerungsladung (30) festgelegten Verzögerungszeit, wobei der Verzögerungsdetonator (10) ein Gehäuse (26) mit einer Zündhälfte (60), in der er gezündet wird, und einer Detonatorhälfte (62), die eine Detonatorladung (34) zum Zünden der Zündanordnung (54) beinhaltet, aufweist. Um ein Blindgehen des Geschosses durch eine zu frühe Detonation des Verzögerungsdetonators (10) zu vermeiden, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Gehäuse (26) in der Zündhälfte (60) eine Entlastungsöffnung (40) mit einem im zündenden Zustand des Verzögerungsdetonators (10) frei durchgängigen Öffnungsquerschnitt aufweist.
