Abstract (en)
The apparatus has a metallic tank (6) filled with a dielectric fluid e.g. sulfur hexafluoride, and electrical live conductors (2, 4) arranged to interior of the tank. A cylindrical grading shield cap (12) comprises an equipotential lines deflector (20) made of dielectric material encircling an inner periphery or outer periphery of a cylindrical metallic envelope (18) of the grading shield cap and making projection of the envelope from a side of a free end (18.2). The deflector is not in contact with the free end of the envelope of the grading shield cap.

Interrupteur moyenne, haute ou très haute tension sous enveloppe métallique comportant une cuve (6) remplie d'un fluide diélectrique, deux conducteurs électriques (2, 4) sous tension disposés à l'intérieur de la cuve (6), deux capots pare-effluves (12) entourant chacun un conducteur sous tension (2, 4), chaque capot pare-effluve (12) comportant une enveloppe métallique (18) de forme cylindrique entourant ledit conducteur et au moins une extrémité libre, au moins l'un des capots (10) comportant également au moins un déflecteur (20) de lignes équipotentielles en matériau diélectrique bordant au moins la périphérie intérieure de ladite enveloppe (18) dudit capot pare-effluve et faisant saillie de ladite enveloppe (18) du côté de l'extrémité libre, ledit déflecteur (20) n'étant pas en contact avec l'extrémité libre (18.2) du capot pare-effluve (12).
