Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2915601A1] The device has a processing unit (10) receiving signals from a charge coupled device (CCD) camera (8) and mirrors to extract luminance levels of the signals in correlation with a thickness dimension of a stack (5), and to generate a determined signal i.e. filtered signal. An extraction unit extracts a periodic pattern representing one of thin products (2), from the determined signal. A calculation unit calculates number of products by intercorrelation using the pattern, to determine number of patterns corresponding to the number of products by histogram. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of processing a signal from a detection circuit of a thin product counting device (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a signal processing method.
