The height-adjustable fastening device has a clamping piece attached on a rail vehicle. An adjustment screw (15) is provided between the clamping piece and a clamping plate (13). The adjustment screw is arranged parallel to a clamping surface. The clamping surface has multiple sub-surfaces spaced apart from each other.
