Abstract (en)

Spray for applying etching or cleaning fluid (11) to metal strip (12) comprises an outer pipe (16) with one closed end which has jets (14) along its length. A second pipe (17) which is open at both ends is mounted coaxially in the first pipe and terminates before it reaches its closed end. An independent claim is included for operating the spray in which fluid is fed under pressure simultaneously though the open end of the outer pipe and the adjacent end of the inner pipe, so that it strike the closed end of the outer pipe and flows back turbulently through the space between the two pipes.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Aufspritzen von Beiz- und/oder Spülflüssigkeit 11 auf ein Behandlungsgut 12, insbesondere Stahlband oder Metallband mit einem Düsenrohr in dessen Wandung auf das Behandlungsgut gerichtete Spritzdüsen integriert sind, wobei das Düsenrohr ein geschlossenes Ende und ein offenes Ende aufweist, letzteres zum Zuführen der Beiz- und/oder Spülflüssigkeit in das Düsenrohr. Um eine Vergleichmäßigung der Verteilung der Beiz- und Spülflüssigkeit auf dem Behandlungsgut zu erzielen, ist erfindungsgemäß ein Zuführungsrohr 17 vorgesehen, welches im Bereich der Spritzdüsen im Innern des Düsenrohres so angeordnet ist, dass eines der beiden offenen Enden des Zuführungsrohres dem geschlossenen Ende des Düsenrohres beabstandet gegenüber steht.
