Abstract (en)
The engine has stator vanes (1) attached to rotor blades, and actuating units connected to the vanes for angularly varying the vanes about longitudinal axes for controlling an airflow supplied to the blades. The units are arranged in downstream stages of a compressor and/or a turbine enclosed by an inner casing (4) and an outer casing, where the stages are exposed to high temperatures. The units are made of a material that expands, contracts and deforms based on the temperature in the stages and transmit a temperature-dependent change in the shape and length to the vanes.

Bei einem Gasturbinentriebwerk mit den Laufschaufeln zugeordneten, mittels Stellelementen um ihre Längsachse winkelverstellbaren Leitschaufeln (1) zur Regelung des den Laufschaufeln (6) zugeführten Luftstroms sind die Stellelemente auch in stromab liegenden engsten und hoch erwärmten Stufen der Kompressoren und/oder Turbinen angeordnet, so dass ein effizienter Betrieb und eine stabile Funktion gewährleistet sind. Die am Innen- oder Außengehäuse (4, 12) fixierten Stellelemente (8) bestehen aus einem sich temperaturabhängig ausdehnenden, form- oder längenveränderlichen Material und übertragen ihre jeweilige Formänderung auf die schwenkbar gelagerten Leitschaufeln (1).
