The invention also relates a measuring method. According to said method, at least one first measuring means detects at least one frequency-independent electrical variable and an evaluation unit detects the temporal behavior of the frequency-independent electrical variable, the evaluation unit automatically generating a signal based on the detection of the evolution in time of the frequency-independent electrical variable, said signal being at least partially equivalent to a frequency-dependent signal.
