Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008129037A1] A light vehicle for the transport of at least two persons which is driven by muscular power has a hydraulic power train which comprises motors (11/1 - 11/4) and a pump device as hydraulic energy source which comprises hydraulic pumps individually assigned to the passengers and activated by the passengers. By means of the pump device, a pressure accumulator (21) of a pressure supply unit (12) can be charged, and hydraulic energy for driving control of the hydraulic motors (11/1 - 11/4) can be drawn therefrom. The drive motors (11/1-11/4) work as pumps in a brake operating mode, which is useful for recuperation, and the pumps feed a conversion device (30) which has a hydraulic drive device (37) which in turn drives a pump device (38) which is designed with a high starting pressure level and which works as a charging pump attachable to the accumulator (21).
