[origin: WO2008138719A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a wire harness, comprising the following steps: (a) populating a building board (10) with end connectors (30); (b) attaching a plurality of collector rings (20) to a starting position associated with an end connector (30); (c) attaching lines (40) to the end connectors (30), wherein the lines (40) are only fixed to the end connectors (30); (d) displacing the collector rings (20) along the lines (40) connecting the end connectors (30) thereof up to an end position associated with each collector ring (20); (e) attaching cable ties (50) along the cable harnesses during or after displacing the collector rings (20).
