[origin: WO2008135549A2] The invention relates to backup power sources (2) connected in parallel that are each connected in a detachable fashion on the input side to an AC grid (5) via a choke (3) and, on the output side, to a common load bus (4), the power delivered by said backup power sources being individually adjustable. In the case of an outage of the AC grid (5), said backup power sources are, to the extent that they are affected by the outage, disconnected from the AC grid (5) and, after the AC grid (5) has begun to function again, said backup power sources are reconnected one after the other to the AC grid (5). In order to coordinate the power delivered by the individual backup power sources (2) while some of the backup power sources (2) are connected on the input side to the AC grid (5) and other backup power sources (2) are not connected on the output side to the AC grid (5), a phase angle (Dj) is determined between the AC grid (5) and the load bus (4), and the power delivered by each of the backup power sources (2) that have not yet been reconnected to the AC grid (5) is adjusted as a function of said phase angle (Dj).
