Abstract (en)

The super finishing machine has a grinding belt (5) and a clamping device (9) for the grinding belt, where the units are formed as an optical system. The optical system comprises a light beam (11), particularly one-way light beam. A laser-light is, particularly used as a light source of the optical system or the light beam with a wavelength of 650 nanometers. One or more light-emitting diodes are used as light source of the optical system or the light beam. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a grinding belt for a finishing unit; and (2) a method for operating a super finishing machine.

Es wird eine Superfinishmaschine ein Schleifband für eine Finisheinrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Superfinishmaschine vorgeschlagen, mit deren Hilfe die Überwachung eines Schleifbands (5) der Superfinishmaschine möglich ist. Gleichzeitig ist auch ein geregelter Vorschub des Schleifbands (5) möglich, was erhebliche Einsparungen ermöglicht.
