Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2147759A1] The method involves feeding printed products in a cutting position on a cutting table. The side border is cut by a driven cutting blade retained by a pressure ram (5). The pressure ram exerts stretch force acting on an upper sheet of the printed product by impinging a surface area (9) on a printed product. An independent claim is included for a device for cutting a side border of bound printed products, and for use with a trimmer for printed products.
