Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2147966A1] Liquid fuel additive of Burning Kerosene or paraffin oil comprises mixture of: at least one antioxidant of phenol or phenol/amine type, preferably antioxidant of phenol/amine; at least one metal passivator, preferably copper; at least one anticorrosion agent, and optionally at least one combustion improver and at least one perfuming agent, odor masking agent and/or reodorant. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for preparing the additive comprising mixing constituents of the additive at room temperature; and (2) a composition of liquid fuel comprising a major part of a mixture made of hydrocarbon liquids of Burning Kerosene type or paraffin oil having distillation temperatures of 180-370[deg] C, preferably 180-260[deg] C, and an aromatic content of up to 20%, preferably = 1%, and a minor part of at least one additive, where the mixture of hydrocarbon fluids comprises middle distillate, obtained from refineries, biofuels, biomass and/or synthetic fuels.
