Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008145844A2] This curtain (5) for a decorative or furnishing device can be curved along one of its dimensions (L) and has at least one visible plate (4) and a plurality of elongate reinforcing strips (6). Each reinforcing strip (6) is attached to an inside face (4A) of a visible plate (4) of the curtain, while an outside face (4B) of the or each visible plate (4) of the curtain is suitable for receiving a trim. The reinforcing strips (6) extend approximately parallel to each other, orthogonally to the dimension of curvature (L) of the curtain. According to the invention, the curtain (5) comprises, for each reinforcing strip (6), a plurality of means (65, 67) for modifying, in the dimension of curvature (L) only of the curtain, the position of at least part (61) of the reinforcing strip with respect to the visible plate (4) to which it is attached, in such a way that the outside face (4B) of the or each visible plate (4) of the curtain is continuous and presents no irregularities both when the curtain (5) is in the straight configuration and curved configuration.
