[origin: EP2149658A2] The pin has a base part (7) attached at a driving rod that is slidably arranged in a fitting groove of a wing frame. A head part (2) is freely rotatable in the base part. The head part (2) has a disk shaped region (3) of large diameter at an end, where a profiled or stepped shaft extends from the disk shaped region. The shaft is freely rotatable in a stepped internal bore of the base part, and is freely and axial slidably attached in a preset dimension. The head part is stably secured in the base part by deforming an outer edge region of the base part. An independent claim is also included for a method for production or operation of a locking pin.
