Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1995057A1] Printing ink for polyolefin polymer based support, comprises at least a binder and at least a pigment, where the binder is polyolefin wax oxidized and emulsified in water, and having a rate of acidity of 28-32 mg potassium hydroxide/g. Independent claims are included for: (1) a polyolefin polymer based support decorated using the ink, in which the ink is applied continuously or discontinuously on at least a face of the support; (2) a multi-layer product decorated using the ink, where the product comprises a support layer (1) containing polyolefin polymer and wearing layer (3), in which the ink is applied by continuous or discontinuous way on at least a face of the support layer and/or the wearing layer; and (3) a preparation of the multi-layer product comprising corona treatment of the face of the support layer and/or the wearing layer for printing, application of the ink on the face of the support layer and/or the wearing layer, drying the ink, installation of the wearing layer on the support layer, and assembly of the wearing layer to the support layer.
